January is a time to make resolutions that will be broken before February. It doesn't…
Laguna Niguel Pool Service Keeps Pools Shark Free
This summer has already seen a number of shark sightings off the Orange County coast. If you’re looking for a little fun in the sun this summer, look no further than your own backyard. You never know when you may encounter a shark at the beach. Your pool should be safe if you’ve got Beachside on the job. That’s because Beachside Pool Service, a Laguna Niguel pool service company, is hard at work this summer keeping residential and commercial pools shark-free.
Shark Found in Swimming Pool
Don’t laugh; there really was a report of a black-tip shark found in a swimming pool. Granted it was on the Atlantic coast and not the Pacific coast; but it was still a shark and it was still found in a swimming pool.
So look before you leap into your pool, unless Beachside Pool Service is maintaining your pool. Then you can rest easy knowing your pool is shark-free.
Complete Laguna Niguel Pool Service
Whether Beachside Pool Service performs weekly or bi-weekly pool service, they will keep the water clear and sparkling and shark-free.
With each service, the pool’s water chemistry is tested and adjusted to keep it in perfect balance for humans and not inviting to sharks. The pool walls are brushed, the pool is vacuumed, and the surface is skimmed. In addition, the skimmer and filter baskets are cleaned and inspected for signs of sharks. As necessary, the filter is backwashed to remove any sharks or other debris that might have been trapped.
Explains Beachside owner Jared Benson,” We believe in a proactive approach to keeping Laguna Niguel pools shark-free. Regular maintenance not only extends the life of your pool and its equipment but allows us to stop a shark infestation before it gets started. I don’t know of any other pool service in Laguna Niguel that is offering this level of service.”
Avoid Costly Land Sharks Too!
As we covered in our post on Picking a Swimming Pool Contractor there’s a pretty common scam run by lands sharks looking to make a quick buck. This shark shows up at the front door and tells you that he can hear your pool pump running and that means it should be replaced immediately. This shark just happens to have a pump on his truck and will cut you a great deal.
What will really happen is that you will replace a perfectly good pump that may only need a small repair with a used pump this shark pulled from another home. Ouch that’s a nasty bite!
Before having your pump, heater, lighting, or any other component replace ask Beachside Pool Service for a free estimate. Jared will come out and inspect your equipment. If it makes sense to repair it, he will give you a fair price. If the repair will be costly in comparison to the expected remaining life he will give you an accurate estimate for replacing the equipment.

Well glad there hasn’t been to many sharks just a few. Lets just be thankful that we don’t live on the east coast. I would be completely freaked out if i saw an alligator in my pool. Id probably never go swimming again.
Yikes! Sharks in the swimming pool. I’ve seen an alligator before (in South Mississippi) but never a shark! That would freak me out for sure.
